Take a nap

Time to take a nap, see you next week with new pictures!

TAP a story on its own

Here how to mount a tap in the basin.
First you drill a little whole, then with a special drilling/cutter piece you cut out the round hole where later the tap will be fixed.

Here the finished result!

I never thought it could be so fun to build and renovate.

KITCHEN PART 2

Finally we got back the kitchen working plate from the carpenter with the washbasin in and now it was time to cut out the whole for the hot plates and prepare the rest.
Kåre screwing on the hotplates before refinishing with silicone.

It was then time to prepare the tap for the washbasin.
Electricity was done by a professional and now we could finally install the electricity hood with carbon filter.

BATHROOM

So, while we were waiting for the electrician to finish his job and som other spare parts to arrive, we started with the bathroom.

We emptied everything beside the washbasin, we cleaned the floor and prepared to paint the corner where the showercabin would be then mounted.

Then it was time for me to start painting with a plastic colour made for bathroom which are called here in Sweden, Våtrumsfärg. It's blue and it sticks. 1 time with it, then another time and then we put on a special bathroom tapestry and I painted with that blue colour finally a last time

To finish everything I painted with the regular colour that I wanted it to be. Orange/yellow, a happy colour to wake up in the morning which matches the old tapestry.

BEWARE OF THE CAT

A few people might have dangerous dogs taking care of their houses, we have LEO.

Just beware of him!

NEW ENTRANCE DOOR

Another helping hand....our good friend Enrica came and helped us changing the entrance door.

An old horrible balcony door, has been changed with a brand new, with secured glas . Here some sequences. It was a very cold day and poor men had to work partly outside. But they good some good SEMLA and coffee and food afterwards.

MAMA HELPING

Gosh, how good to have a mother.
January month my mom stayed with us and helped us a lot, while we were building downstairs with all the normal work upstairs. She took simply care of us. 81 years old and still a hero for me.

Here, she came down to look how we manage and say hi.
